Saas’ latest licensing deal will allow customers to use its cars in a variety of ways including ride sharing, taxi and limousine services.
Saas already sells its vehicles for ride sharing through the Saas Taxi and Limousine Services business unit, which sells its cars for the taxis and limos to ride sharing companies.
The deal is aimed at helping Saas reach new markets.
It will help Saas bring in new customers for its taxi and ride sharing business, and it will allow Saas to grow its market share in the ride-sharing industry, according to a Saatva executive.
The Saas licenses will be available to Saas customers in the next few weeks, the executive said.
In a news release announcing the deal, Saas said the licensing agreement “opens the door to the possibility of an increased use of Saas vehicles for commercial, industrial and transport purposes.”
Saas also said it is working to introduce new features and services for its vehicles to make them easier to use, faster to maintain and safer for customers.
